Kathryn Miller Andersen

March 1, 1949 — January 12, 2008

Kathryn Miller Andersen, 58, was happily reunited with her dad and brothers on Saturday, January 12, 2008 after an extended illness. Kathy was born March 1, 1949 in Phoenix, Arizona to Thomas D. and Elizabeth Miller. She attended Sky View High School and graduated in 1967. She married Randall Jonas Andersen on June 20, 1969 in the Logan LDS Temple. Kathy enjoyed doing genealogy, sewing, crafts, gardening, and computers. She also loved a long drive through the mountains. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. Although she was often too sick to attend church, she had great faith in the Lord and in the LDS church. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, her daughters: Laurie Rose; Keri Craig Kohler, of Logan; and Stacia Castro of Ogden; her sons: Shane and Darrick Jackie of Logan; and Damian Angelique of Ontario, Canada; and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Elizabeth Miller; sisters: Marilyn Miller, Julie Jerome DiCarro; brothers: Kenneth Terri Miller, Phillip Miller, Bruce Miller, and Gary Miller. She was preceded in death by her father and brothers, David and Daniel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Logan Stake Center, 940 Three Point Avenue, Logan. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan and Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Hyrum City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
