Katherine Abbott Kerr

January 7, 1916 — August 8, 2006

TREMONTON ? On August 8, 2006, Katherine Abbott Kerr peacefully passed away surrounded by her family.
She was born in Elwood, Utah on January 7, 1916, daughter of George and Mabel Waldron Abbott. She married Kleon Kerr on March 15, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan temple.
Katherine was a talented, elegant lady, always involved in her church and community. She was an excellent cook and fed all who came through her door. She was an accomplished seamstress and gardener who loved to make things beautiful. Blondie cherished her family most of all. She was happiest when her house was full of family. We could do no wrong in her eyes. She has left each of us with countless precious memories. The greatest of her many talents was making family and friends feel special. Katherine was preceded in death by four siblings and a grandson. She is survived by her husband, and three children: Kathleen Johnson of Garland, Bill Jill of West Jordan, Utah, and Becky Larry Petersen of Pocatello, Idaho. Survivors also include 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held Friday, August 11, from 6-8 pm at the Tremonton 1st ward church, 166 North Tremont Street. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 12, at 1:00 pm in the Riverview Ward chapel in Deweyville, with a viewing from 11:30-12:30. The family would like to thank IHC Hospice for their tender care. Mother loved flowers but preferred donations to IHC Hospice or the LDS Missionary fund.
