Julie Ann Spackman Murray passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of June 12, 2017. She was born on January 21, 1953. She was the daughter of Reed LaVell & Thailia Beattie Spackman.
Julie lived her entire life in Richmond. She married the love of her life, Terrell R. Murray on February 16, 1973. They are the parents of two sons, Shane T. Murray & Jarrod S. Murray. As a family they liked to go camping in the summer with family & friends up High Creek, Glendale & the best was the hunting camp up Logan Canyon.
Everyone loved Julie. She was so sweet & a delight to be around. She had a wicked sense of humor & loved to laugh. She was very talented. She could sing, she was a great cook, she made beautiful crafts & she was an incredible homemaker. She retired in 2015 from the Cache County School District where she had worked many years as a cook at North Cache. She loved her work & all the good friends she made there. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints & was currently the Relief Society Chorister.
Julie was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother & grandmother. Her family was her greatest treasure & joy. Julie, we love you to the moon & back!
She is survived by her husband Terrell, her sons, Shane (Jamie) of Tremonton, Jarrod (Jennifer) of Boise, her grandchildren, Tanner, Kellen, Dallen, & Emma, & her sister Lynette Spackman of Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reed & Thailia.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17 at 12 noon at the Richmond Stake Center Chapel (135 West Main St.) with a viewing from 10:30-11:30. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 16 from 6-8 pm at the same location. Interment will be in the Richmond City Cemetery. Condolences & memories may be shared online at
