Tremonton, UT – Joy Sparks Delcambre, 47, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008. She was born April 19, 1961 in Brigham City, UT to Bryan William Sparks and MarRue Hunsaker. She attended Utah State University and received an Associates Degree. She married Kurt Davis January 1980. They were later divorced. She married James Michael Delcambre August 20, 2000 in Salt Lake City, UT. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple August 20, 2008.
Joy had a zest for life and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to travel, go shopping and make and decorate cakes. She loved her yorkies: Jasper and J. J.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Young Women and Relief Society organizations and currently a member of the Garland 2nd Ward.
Surviving are her husband and "Best Friend"; children: Jami Buttars, Ashlee Nate Williams, Travis Davis, Justin Julie Delcambre, Josh Kyra Delcambre and Carrie Jeremy Montoya; 15 grandchildren; her parents; three brothers: Les Kathryn Sparks, Lane Cherie Sparks and Kyle Cori Sparks; one sister, Holly Mickey Daines and her adopted son, Johnathan Abby Toone.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Kevin and her son-in-law, Bryon Buttars.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Garland Tabernacle, 140 West Factory St., Garland, UT. Family and friends may call Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Monday 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
