Joy Brown Wallace Dodge, 81, died January 21, 2005. She was born April 28, 1923 in West Jordan, Utah to John Milton and Violet Irene Brown Wallace. She was raised in Granger, Utah. On October 28, 1942, she married Bobby Bob Walter Dodge in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She lived in Salt Lake City, Ogden and Logan, Utah. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in various callings throughout her life. Joy was a loving mother and grandmother, who worked hard to support and serve her family and others throughout her life. She enjoyed gardening and the beauty of nature. She was a friend to all, and will be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in by her husband, her parents, a granddaughter, and a great grandson. Joy is survived by her sister, Connie Jerry Dean; four children: Sharon Jagger Lawrence, Kevin Vicky, Kim Elizabeth and Robert Candy; 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Willow Valley 2nd Ward Chapel, 825 North 200 West, Logan, Utah. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening, January 27, at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
