Joshua Edward Symons passed away peacefully in his sleep April 10, 2023 in Logan, Utah. Joshua was born to loving parents Edward Dewaine and Frances Elizabeth Bennett Symons on February 26, 1987 in San Diego, California.
Joshua attended schools in California and Logan, Utah. Receiving his certificate of completion from Logan High School.
Josh loved repeating the words he heard and liked. He would repeat significant phrases he heard during conversations with others and in church meetings. His comments would come from his heart when he heard something that meant something to him.
Being read to was a favorite past time. He enjoyed hearing the Frog and Toad stories and would quote phrases from those books. He loved taking long walks. His pace was fast and he would often be well ahead of his companions, anxious to move forward.
Josh was moved by music. When a hymn moved him, he couldn’t control his need to move to the music and would march around the chapel moving his arms to the tune. His favorite Hymn was “Oh My Father.” He could quote the words of this beautiful hymn.
Ed and Fran carefully watched over Joshua during his years on this earth. These loving parents provided whatever they could to have him home with them.
Joshua is survived by his parents Ed and Fran Symons and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He is proceeded in death by both Maternal and Paternal Grandparents.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 17 at 11 am at the Green Meadows Ward Chapel (645 Trail Circle, Logan) with a viewing from 9:30-10:30. Interment will follow at the Logan City Cemetery.
