Johsua Darrell Christensen Garland: Joshua Darrell Christensen returned home to his Father-in-Heaven on June 19, 2002. He was born on this same spring day in 1976 to George Darrell and Sandra Lee Rose Christensen. He married Emily Stewart on November 5, 1999, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They later divorced. Joshua was reared and educated in Garland graduating from Bear River High School. He was attending Utah State University. He was excited to be studying and learning. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and snowboarding, but he especially enjoyed being with his family. He had a heart full of love for everyone, showing great kindness and thoughtfulness to all. His contagious laugh brought much joy and happiness. He was an Elder in the Garland 2nd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served an LDS Mission in New York. Joshua is survived by his parents, Darrell and Sandra Christensen, Garland, brothers and sister, Kenneth Melissa Williams, Riverside, UT; Linda Ken Ashworth, LasVegas, NV; Micheal Joan Chadwick, Tremonton; Jared Libby Christensen, Garland; grandmothers, Reva Rose and Lenna Christensen, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Glen Rose and George L. Christensen; his sister, Jenalyn Christensen. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2002, 12:00 noon at the Garland LDS Tabernacle, 140 West Factory Street. Friends may call Friday, June 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Saturday, June 22nd from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the Tabernacle.
