JOHN BESSINGER Tremonton - John Bessinger passed away in his cabin at Bear Lake on June 14,2002. John was born in Tremonton to Christina Skiby & Albert Bessinger. He married Dorothy Rose Holland on April 12,1952 in Evanston, Wyoming. He served his country during WWII in Europe. Upon returning from the military, John became an iron worker. John & his wife Dorothy ran Dot?s Lounge for 18 years after he retired from Local Union #27. After selling the lounge, John concentrated on his true love of fishing. If he wasn?t fishing, he was tying flies or talking about fishing. John is survived by his wife Dorothy and two sons, Terry Bessinger and John Lynn Susie Bessinger. Also surviving are stepchildren Scott Merline Bessinger, son in law Steven Harris, David Sheryl Bessinger, Linda Gilfred Smart. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, and his step daughter Diana Harris. He will be missed greatly by his loving wife of 50 years, children, 25 grandchildren & 32 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Friends may call Monday, from 6:00 ? 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday 12:00 ? 12:45 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
