LIBERTY - In loving memory of Jody Munns Leatham, who returned home on Friday, September 16th of 2005, after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 53. She began her life as the daughter of Eldon and Alta Munns of Garland, Utah. She was a graduate of Bear River High School and the LDS seminary, class of 1970. While there she was actively involved in music programs and the pep club. She attended Weber State College for a short time until she was introduced to her sweetheart Rex M. Leatham. They were married for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple on April 16, 1976. They lived in both Clinton and South Weber for several years before settling in Liberty, Utah. She was very active in her LDS ward and enjoyed being a primary teacher and served as such for many years. Her hobbies included quilting, crocheting, and gardening where her creative abilities shown through. One of her great joys came from her volunteer work at the Medals Plaza during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. She cherished the company of her family and especially enjoyed her only grandchild. She is survived by her husband and five children and one grandchild: Becky Edward Mitchell and their son Thomas, Jennifer Matthew Nelson, Shelley Cory Vause, Adam, and Aaron. Her family is also expecting two grandchildren due in November and March. She is also survived by her parents, sister, and two brothers: Sue Thad Poulter, Clint Brenda Munns, and Jay Debbie Munns. She was preceded in death by her sister Becky and her Brother Terry. Viewing will be held Monday, September 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah and also Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Garland Stake Tabernacle, 200 W. Factory in Garland, Utah. Internment will be held at the Garland Cemetery.
