When asked by one of her sons what was the most important thing she wanted him to know she said, ?That Jesus is not only your Saviour, but also your friend, and he loves you.? Joan was an active member in the LDS Church since her conversion as a young Mother at the age of 24. She was valiant in her testimony and her life reflected her beliefs even in the hardest of trials.
