Jewell Frances Hankins

Brigham City, UT ? Jewell Frances Hankins, 86, passed away Monday, September 18, 2006. She was born June 21, 1920 in Archer City, TX to Marion Elmo and Carrie Irene Wilson Roberts. She married Charlie Samuel Hankins in Ventura, CA on October 28, 1947. He passed away November 1, 2001.
Jewell enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing, camping and loved being a wife and mother. She made her home a haven of love and warmth for her family and friends. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many various callings. She served a mission with her husband in the Pennsylvania/Philadelphia Mission and they served as officiators in the Logan LDS Temple.
Surviving are her children: Dennis Kathy Hankins, Kettlefalls, WA and Cheryl Alden Farr, Brigham City, UT; seven grandchildren; and two sisters: Ina Mae and Marjorie Louise.
She is preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, Maon and Wilson, and two sisters, Una Lee and Geraldine ?Gerry?.
Services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Family and friends may call from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Interment at Fielding Cemetery.
