She was a loving mother and a caring friend. She touched every persons life that she met. She is proceeded in death by her son Jesse Barfield, her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Walker, Mr. & Mrs. Pectol, her brother Robert Pudney, her first husband Ivan Purcell Jr., and her best friend Kara Young. She is survived by her five children: Courtney Coleman; Randa Purcell; Cassadie, Shawnee, and Kathleen Barfield; her life mate, Troy Smith; her step children, T.E. Jay, Ashaylee, and Matthew Smith; her brother Jody Pectol, her parents Clark and Marjorie Pectol, and granddaughter Lilly Coleman. Jeri dedicated her life to bringing joy to others. Each and every one of us will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Logan 12th Ward Chapel, 940 Three Point Ave., Logan.
