Jean Sharon Grover Peterson

Jean Sharon Grover Peterson Deweyville: Jean Sharon Grover Peterson, 63, returned to her Heavenly Father Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at home, surrounded by loved ones and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 1, 1940, in East Garland, Utah, the fifth of eight children to Clifton and Vera Seager Grover. She married Patch Peterson June 18, 1994, in the Logan Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church, Deweyville Ward. Jean will be remembered for her love of horses and dogs and was happiest with a hammer and saw in her hand building something. She was a very loving, caring and giving lady who touched many lives. Surviving are her sweetheart Patch of Deweyville, UT; brothers and sisters, Darlene Whitaker of Gardnerville, NV; Rolland Emily of Roosevelt, UT; Wesley Bonnie of Palmer, AK; Leon Jackie of Washington, UT; Karen Gary Huckaby of Ephraim, UT; Craig Una of Garland, UT and ten step children. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Theron; brother-in-law, James L. Whitaker and step daughter Celeste. At Jean?s request there will be no viewing or funeral, however, a short graveside service will be held at the East Garland Cemetery, 14200 North 4400 West, East Garland, UT on Saturday May 24, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment.
