Smithfield ? Jason Mark Jamison, 32, passed away on Saturday May 7, 2005 from injuries sustained in a tractor accident. Jason was born on July 15, 1972 to John Mark and Margaret Jamison in Logan, UT. Jason was raised and educated in Cokeville, WY where he graduated from Cokeville High School and Seminary. Jason earned his Eagle Scout award. He served an honorable mission for the LDS Church in Hartford Connecticut. He was a leader and an assistant to the President. Jason married his eternal companion, Sherisse Hoth, in the Logan LDS Temple on December 28, 1993. Together they had three beautiful children who he loved very much. Jason had a special love for his wife, children, family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, teaching them and enjoying all the times they had together, especially on horses. He loved camping, hunting, going on vacation, and making the most out of life. He loved his little girl, who he always called ?Katie? or ?beautiful.? Jason loved the Gospel and served in many church positions as a leader. He loved working with the youth. Jason was a hard worker who was very goal oriented and succeeded in all he did. Jason?s love for people made making new friends easy. He got along with everyone and never spoke negative of others. Jason worked with Grange Construction and later enjoyed being a Sales Associate with AFLAC Insurance. Jason is survived by his wife, Sherisse; and their three children: Brody Mark, Payden D., and Katelyn Jo Jamison. He is also survived by his parents; John Mark and Margaret Jamison, Smithfield, brothers and sisters; Jenifer Kelly Hoth, Smithfield; Jeromy Rachel Jamison, Logan; Jeana Justin Kelly, Midway; Julia Gary Dent, Richmond; Joshua Jamison, Smithfield; and Jarin Ashley Jamison, Smithfield. Jason?s in-laws, who he loved dearly, are DeVerle and JoAnn Hoth, Smithfield. Brother-in-laws, Kirk Maria Hoth, North Logan; KellyJenifer Hoth, Smithfield; Tracy Lisa Hoth Smithfield; Jason Hoth, Smithfield. Jason is survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews who loved him greatly. Preceding Jason in death are his Grandparents; Glen and Grace Gamble, Hazen and Barta Jamison; and a sister-in-law, Kathrine Hoth. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Smithfield Stake Center, 600 East 120 South. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 85 South Main Street, Smithfield, and prior to the service on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church.
