Janice Peterson Schramm

April 19, 1932 — March 15, 2007

Janice was born April 19, 1932 to Frederick Willard and Bernice May Smith Peterson. Married Robert Schramm April 20, 1956 in Bellville, IL and were sealed for time and all eternity September 22, 1961 in the Logan LDS Temple. Janice died on March 15, 2007 after ten years battling dementia. Even in the final stages of dementia, all felt her sweet spirit. Janice was a wonderful mother and wife and a talented homemaker. In her youth she painted in pastels winning second place in Utah State Fair with one of her paintings. She loved to golf. Her game was short but straight and she even had a hole in one. Janice held many leadership positions in church, particularly in the Relief Society and loved the gospel. She is survived by her husband, Bob; her children: Phil Debi Schramm, Paula Mike Mower, Shirl Wilson-Call, Brian Jo Ellen Schramm; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, three brothers and one stepbrother. Her parents, a stepbrother and a sister preceded Janice in death. The family expresses their love and appreciation to Patricia Tanner, her husband,
John and their daughter, Rosie, sons, Blake, David, Jeff, Curtis for the love and care they provided to Janice for the last four plus years. And to the Hospice Alliance of Idaho, especially to Carol Hancock her hospice nurse who made sure she didn?t suffer and was as comfortable as possible. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Mt. Olympus 5th Ward Chapel, 3610 E. 3510 S., SLC, UT at 12:00 noon. Friends may express their condolences from 10:45 ? 11:45 a.m.. Interment in East Garland Cemetery. The family suggests donations to the Foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center DRMC or a charity of your choice.
