Janice Marriott Lamb passed away in her sleep and into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on June 8, 2015.
She was born on August 29, 1934 in Logan, Utah to Elmer and Nona Larson Marriott of Trenton, Utah. She married her eternal sweet heart Robert Cardon Lamb of Hyde Park, Utah, on August 18, 1953 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They enjoyed 61 years before Robert passed away on October 6 ,2014. Following Robert's death, Janice moved to Bountiful, Utah to be closer to her children. She is survived by 5 children, Kaylene Lindley (Greg), Laurie Rood (Clair), Michael Lamb (Michele), Randy Lamb (Debra) and Jeffrey Lamb (Natalie). She also has 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Janice graduated from North Cache High school in 1951.
Janice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. he loved and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed having a candy drawer where they could come and get treats. She loved going to their activities, birthday parties, and graduations.
Janice loved the holidays. She would plan months in advance. Getting the family together was very important to her. Family reunions were her favorite. She would buy lots of crafts for all ages.
Janice was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many positions but truly enjoyed the Young Women's. Robert and Janice served an LDS mission in the Washington, Tacoma mission. They taught Institute and worked with the Young Single Adults.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her parents, and her brother, Farron Marriott.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at noon at the Logan 8th Ward, 325 Lauralin Drive. A viewing will be held at the church just prior to the services Saturday from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m.
Interment will be at the Logan City Cemetery.
