Jane Louise Spall

Jane Allen Spall, 79, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation in Logan, Utah. Jane was born May 30, 1934 in Oswego, NY, to William and Louise Allen. She and older brothers, Nelson and Bill, enjoyed many fun times growing up in Oswego. On May 2, 1953 Jane married Donald Spall, the love of her life, and shortly after they moved to Penfield, NY, where they started their family. Sons Bob and Mike were born a few years later, and together the family enjoyed life in upstate New York, especially summer weekends in Fairhaven. Ever the water lovers, Don and Jane moved to St. John, USVI in the late 1970s. They made many friends there while enjoying the warm tropical Caribbean climate. In 1990, Jane and Don moved to Florida to be closer to their sons and new grandchildren. Sadly, Don passed away in early 1992. Jane continued to live in Florida for a few years, but eventually relocated to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, finally settling in the lovely town of Blue Ridge. Just a month before her passing, Jane moved to Logan to be closer to her son, Bob, and his family. Jane is survived by her sons, Robert Chris Spall of Providence, UT, and Michael Eileen Spall of Falmouth, MA.; grandchildren, Caroline and Steven Spall, of Falmouth, MA, and Sarah and Laura Spall, of Providence, UT; sister-in-law, Evelyn Spall Mance of Rochester & Consesus, NY; and brother-in-law, Robert Marilyn Spall of Greece, NY. Jane, a life-long animal lover, also leaves behind her two cats, Muffin and Smokey. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, Don, and other close relatives and friends. Jane was fortunate to have made many friends throughout her life and she cherished those friendships very much. Per Jane's wishes no funeral services will be held.
