Jan Marcia Ward

Jan Marcia Ward Taylorsville/Riverside: Jan Marcia Ward, 48, of Taylorsville passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2002, at her home in Taylorsville. Jan was born August 10, 1954, in Tremonton, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Voss and Marie Baker Ward. Jan grew up in Riverside and attended a special school at Bear River City and later attended The American Fork Training School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and graduated from seminary three times Jan loved to sing, dance, make latch hook rugs and working at the workshop. She is survived by two brothers, Byron Connie of West Bountiful and Randy Debra of Roy; a sister, Trina Doug Gibbs of Portage; sister-in-law, Donna Ward of Riverside and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents and her brother Dennis G. preceded her in death. A special thanks to all those who lovingly took care of Jan through the years and especially to the caring staff at Danville Services and Vista Care for their excellent care during the last years of her life. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2002, 12:00 noon at the Belmont LDS Ward Chapel, 16925 North 5200 West, Riverside, Utah, with Bishop Jay Capener officiating. Friends may call Monday, September 9th from 9:30 to 11:40 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.
