Jan Bergeson

January 16, 1959 — October 4, 2008

Jan Bergeson, our beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2008 at the age of 49. Jan, born January 16, 1959, was the fifth of seven children born to Norma Jean Fonnesbeck Bergeson and Garold Bergeson. Born in Logan, Jan was raised and educated in Smithfield. She lived most of her adult life in Lewiston and Richmond. She was a long-time employee of Pepperidge Farm and enjoyed many lasting friendships there. Jan had one child TJ Bergeson. TJ was the center of her world; she loved him more than words can explain. TJ and his wife, Rachel, have two daughters Azalea and Nevaeh. Jan's granddaughters were her pride and joy, she loved them with all her heart. Jan had many hobbies and interests. She loved collecting M&M figurines, camping, and shooting her gun. Jan always had a special place in her heart for her two dogs, Simba and Bug Bug. However her true passion in life was her family. Jan is survived by her son TJ Rachel Bergeson, her two granddaughters, Azalea and Nevaeh, of Logan; her mother Norma Fonnesbeck Bergeson of Smithfield; siblings Clark Leroy Rhonda Bergeson of South Dakota, Una Elbert Sweeten of Richmond, twin sister, Jean David DeGasser of Richmond, Lori Jeff Glenn of Wellsville, and Clair Arlene Bergeson of Smithfield.
