Ila Mae Stone Anderson

May 1, 1923 — February 16, 2013

Ila Mae Stone Anderson has waltzed into the arms of Owen C. Anderson, the love of her life, her world traveling partner and Logan Temple and mission companion. She lived an extraordinary life that was a combined devotion to both family and faith. She cared for her parents, David and Sarah Emma Stone and then her sister-in-law, Lillie Anderson. While always being involved in the primary or relief society, she and Owen raised two wonderful children, David Carol Anderson and Linda Blain Otteson. They gave her 7 beautiful grandchildren and they in-turn blessed her with 17 great-grandchildren. She was fortunate to have 2 brothers and 6 sisters while growing up in both Logan and Malad, Idaho. She loved everyone in her immense family. They are her greatest treasure and is a legacy that will long live on and always use her as an example. If you knew her, you loved her. Mom, you are already and will always be greatly missed. Please help us celebrate her life at her funeral. It will be held on Friday, February 22 at 11 am at the Mt. Logan Stake Center 565 E. 100 S.. Viewing prior to funeral from 9:30-10:30. A viewing will be on Thursday, February 22 from 6-8 pm at Nelson Funeral Home 162 E. 400 N.. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery. Encompass Hospice, thank you for compassion and help. We couldn't have done it without you. You are truly an amazing group of people. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your favorite missionary or charity, in her name and honor.
