Hulda Kitzman passed away in Logan, Utah, on July 21, 2010. She was born near Wishek, North Dakota, on July 4, 1918, to Johannes Diegel and Elizabeth Holzwarth and was the 10th of 14 children. She had a love of gardening and sharing her bounty, enjoyed reading about health foods, and designed and helped build her homes. Hulda operated a rest home in Fargo, North Dakota, before coming to Utah in 1970. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Hulda is survived by her children: Arlene Bath, SD, Robert Fargo, ND, Mavis Logan, UT, Sam Orem, UT, and Roger Loon Lake, WA; 7 grand children; 14 great-grand children; 1 great-great-grandchild; and her sister Esther Fandrich Jamestown, ND.
Funeral Services will be held at Nelson Funeral Home, Logan, Utah, at 1 pm on 7-27-10, with a viewing from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Burial will occur on 7-28-10 at 12 noon at the Orem City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family online at
