Hiede Nannette Shumway

Hiede Nannette Shumway age 39, of Smithfield Utah passed away on Tuesday January 29 2013 at home. She was the beloved wife of Nathan Shumway. Hiede was born in Salt Lake City Utah March 7, 1973 and grew up in Alaska. She was the daughter of Bruce and late Dar Washburn Saxey. Hiede married Nathan Shumway on March 3rd 1996 in Logan Utah Hiede worked at Stander Inc for many years and had countless friends and was known for going the extra mile. She made the decision to stop working to be home to nurture her two children. Besides her husband Nathan, Hiede leaves her son Hunter age 12 and daughter Jordon age 9. She also leaves behind her brother Chris and numerous nieces and nephews aunts, uncles, cousins and friends Hiede was an incredible person who loved her family. Her husband and children were the focus of her life. Hiede was known for showing up for anyone that had a need, and she was a loyal and loved friend. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2nd at 12:00pm at the Smithfield 11th Ward Chapel, 79 East 100 South. Friends may call Saturday at the church from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. Donations may be made in Hiede's name at Wells Fargo Bank in Smithfield.
