Helen Mar Burns Hall ?Together Again? Layton: Helen Mar Burns Hall, our loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away February 4, 2002, at the age of 79, after a valiant fight with Alzheimer?s. Our mother was surrounded by her devoted family in the home of her daughter Lorraine in Layton. She was born October 8, 1922, in Brigham City, the daughter of Albert W. and Eva Walker Burns. She was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was raised in Fielding and graduated from Bear River High School in Tremonton. She married Arch ?Tobe? O. Hall, September 12, 1941, in Malad, Idaho. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple, December 9, 1963. In her early years she raised her family and later worked and retired from the U.S. Government. Mom?s calling was her family and she wanted them with her camping, golfing, and playing cards. Mom was a beautiful seamstress and her talents were too many to name. She is survived by two sons and four daughters; Richard A. Hall, Mt. Home, ID; Sanford O. Sherrie Hall, Ogden; Karen Terry Skraznas, Centerville; LaDean Adams, Roy; Lorraine Steve Vockel, Layton; Pamala Bill Spencer, Layton; 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren who were the light of her life; two brothers and two sisters, Frank and Ferrell Burns, Bountiful; Nelda Riedel, North Salt Lake and Norma Thomas, Garland. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, Odell Burns, Newel Burns, Walter Burns, Louise Nielsen and Lueen Christensen. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 7, 2002, 12:00 noon, at the Layton Hills Stake Center, 2300 North 1200 West, with Bishop Troy Nilson officiating. Family and friends may call Wednesday, February 6, 2002, at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 7th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Layton Hills Stake Center. Interment will be in Memorial Garden of the Wasatch Cemetery, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Chancellor Gardens and to the Utah Heritage Hospice for the tender care and support to our mother and to our family.
