Helen Fuhriman

March 30, 1917 — July 6, 2002

LOGAN?Helen Fuhriman, 85, died July 6, 2002 at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she had been residing for the past 11 years. She was born on March 30, 1917 in Franklin, Idaho, a daughter of Ezra and Malinda Jones Fuhriman. Helen worked at Intermountain Farmers for 37 years, starting as an egg candler along side her mother and eventually becoming the office manager/bookkeeper. Her hobbies included handwork and cooking. She was famous for her Cinnamon Rolls and Pies. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. She will be rememebered for her quick whit and good sense of humor. She always took a great interest in her nieces and nephews children and they all loved her dearly. Before taking residency at the nursing home, she was a member of the 15th ward where she worked in the library. She is survived by five nieces and nephews: Gary Helen Lindquist, Palm Coast, Florida; Nancy Gerald Summers, Syracuse, Utah; Lewis F. Helen Fuhriman, Boise, Idaho; Diane Larry Perkes, Hyde Park; and Linda Fred Lee, Pleasanton, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lewis and Mark and by a sister Adria Lindquist. The family wishes to express thanks and appreciation to the staff at Logan Nursing and Rehabilitaiton Center for the excellent care, friendship and love shown to Helen. A graveside service will be held at the Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Idaho on Friday, July 12, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Burial will be along side her parents at the Franklin, Idaho Cemetery.
