Hazel Ann Hebdon Hansen was born May 7, 1928 in Preston, ID to Edward Eardley & Ellen May Auger Hebdon. She died March 18, 2018 at her home in Smithfield, surrounded by her family.
After losing her mother at six, she was raised by her sister while living in various locations, and attending various schools. As one of five girls, she graduated from North Rich High School in Laketown, Utah.
She married Roland Hansen on June 10, 1947 in the Idaho Falls Temple.
They were the parents of three daughters: RoAnn (Blaine) Ashworth (deceased), Dixie (Paul) Baird, and Sherilyn (Ron) Kohler.
She served a four-and-a-half-year service mission with her husband, as directors of the home-craft dept. at the Deseret Industries in Logan, Utah.
She was an accomplished quilter and seamstress, and made many quilts for her family members.
She is survived by two daughters, one brother, Harold (Jeniece), one sister-in-law Sarah Hebdon, 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a step-mother, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, 1 daughter, 1 granddaughter, and 1 great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Mar. 23, 2018, in the Smithfield 14th Ward Church, 451 S. 250 East.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 85 S. Main, Smithfield, and at the Church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral. Burial will take place in the Smithfield Cemetery.
