Harvey Absalom Carter

Park Valley, Harvey A. Carter, 87, son of Francis E. and Mary Elizabeth Yates Carter passed away April 6, 2004. He was born January 15, 1917 in Ogden, Utah.
Dad lived his entire life in Park Valley. He loved Park Valley, his family and his ranch.
Dad married Mom, Norine Kunzler, on June 1, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. Mom passed away July 4, 1991.
Dad loved baseball and basketball. He also loved to watch his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren participate in various sports. Dad held numerous positions in the LDS church and served faithfully in those positions.
He is survived by seven children: Fae Ron Higgins, Uintah, Utah, Mary Howard Field, Fruit Heights, Utah, Bonnie Gilbert Kap, Hooper, Utah, Jay Holly Carter, Park Valley, Utah, Curtis Denise Carter, Kaysville, Utah, Dale Ralene Carter, Park Valley, Utah, Karen Marty Mangum, Jerome, Idaho, 26 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one sister, Miriam Ralph Hill, LaGrande, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers and one great grandson.

A viewing will be held Friday, April 9, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah. The funeral will be held Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Park Valley, Utah LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will be at the Park Valley Cemetery.
