Grant G. Cheal, 74, passed away at his home in Smithfield, Wednesday, April 28, 2004. He was born September 3, 1929 in Corinne, Utah. He graduated from Box Elder High School and served a mission in the Western States Mission for the LDS Church. He moved to Cache Valley in 1951. He married Charlotte Wendenburg November 17, 1967 in the Logan Temple. They lived in Logan for nine years, then moved to Smithfield. He retired from the food service department at Utah State University. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, Smithfield; a brother, Lynn Joyce Cheal, Smithfield; and five nephews and their spouses and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Leona Cheal and two sisters: Doris and Shirley, and an infant brother, Byron. A graveside service will be held at the Brigham City Cemetery on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank Hospice and caring friends and neighbors for their care and concern.
