Ogden, Utah - Grace Nielson Mohr, 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at her daughter's home. She was born on April 4, 1922 in Fountain Green, Utah to Ernest Eskel Joseph and Minerva Malinda Robertson Nielson. She married Don Homer in March of l941 and they had a daughter, Karen. They later divorced. She married Dr. Alzon J. Mohr on December 3, 1958. Thier marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple.
Grace's mother died when she was two years old. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, John T. and Maria Charlotte Andersen in the Bear River Valley. She graduated from Bear River High School.
Grace spent her life working with her husband in the medical practice and she enjoyed going to Bear Lake. Grace has lived the last 20 years in California.
Surviving is her daugher Karen Waters; two step daughers, Shirleen Andrews and Sandra Elder; Grandchildren: Brett, Sabrina, Valerie, Matthew, Kayla, Shauna, Kim, Julie, Sean, Scot, and Casey; and 37 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters: Forest "Tex", Madge, Roger, Douglas, Frank, LaVon, Lorna, Verl, Etta, Robert, Bill and Ruby.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garland City Cemetery.
