Glen Charles Hulse

December 8, 1922- November 3, 2013 Hyrum, UT ~ Glen Charles Hulse passed away on November 3, 2013 at the George E. Wahlen Veteran's Home at the ripe young age of 90. Born in Smithfield, UT, Glen enlisted in the Army in1941 and served until 1968. Glen was married to Renee M. Atkinson of Hyrum, Utah on October 27, 1945. Following his military retirement, Glen worked as a civil servant for the United States Army and retired in 1986. Glen is survived by his six children: Gene Janna Hulse, Alyn Patricia Hulse, G. Margie Ernie Jahn, Darlene Richard Hagman, L. Shazon Leonard Dilley and Edwin Hulse; 24 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, his two sisters: Mada Clinton Liechty and Sadie James Parker. Glen was preceded in death by his wife Renee, parents John Charles and Alice Millard Hulse and his two sisters, Fern Elwood Leonhardt and Macel Donald Parker. Glen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whom the family remembers as being stubborn to the core and a cheat at Zilch … but the most loving and giving family man ever. Glen and Renee served two missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; serving in England and New Zealand. Funeral services will be held at the Hyrum Stake Center 600 South 200 East, Hyrum, UT 84319 on Saturday November 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Smithfield Cemetery.
