Geraldine Peterson passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, May 21, 2006. Geraldine had endured the trials of Multiple Sclerosis since 1979. Through it all, she had a positive outlook on life and was always cheerful and happy. She has been living in Logan, Utah since 2001.
Geraldine was born March 15, 1942 and was raised in Holden, Utah. She graduated from Millard High School and then attended Utah State University. She then returned to Millard County to raise her family. During this time, she also attended Snow College.
Geraldine loved life. She was active in the LDS Church, in Scouting, in 4-H, and in any activity her kids were involved in. She leaves as her legacy her love for life and her determination to fight through troubles.
She is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Ashley Veater and Jameson Peterson; her parents, Gerald and Myrl Johnson; and her sisters, Kaye Jackson and Mary Harris. She is survived by her five children, Jim Peterson, Casey Peterson, Kitty Louden, Ceilla Johnston and Honey Lyn Atkinson; and her two sisters Mollie McBride and Rachel Robison. She has a total of 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A public viewing will be held at the Nelson Funeral Home 162 East 400 North, Logan, UT Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday in Holden, UT at the LDS Chapel from 6-8.
She is loved and will be missed by all that knew her.
