George 'Wes' Wesley Ault

George Wesley Ault was a loving, quick witted, intelligent, and hard working man, and an excellent provider for his family. Our best friend and beloved Dad passed peacefully with his family by his side.
We honor Dad’s loyalty and dedication to his family, friends, and neighbors, as we celebrate George’s blessed life and strong spirit. Everyone who knew Wes benefited from his kindness, his humor, and his caring and supportive nature. Dad was a generous and charitable man.
Wes was born on November 30, 1930, in Logan, Utah, and was the oldest child of Wesley Marler Ault and Zella Thurston Ault. Childhood days for Wes were spent in Logan, where he grew up with his sister Jean Hubbard. Wes met his loving wife Renee in high school, and they were married in the Logan LDS Temple on April 19, 1950. They raised five children; Kevin, Stacy, Becky, Brian, and Lisa. Dad enjoyed sharing his life with Mom, and he was content and satisfied with his full and successful life.
Dad enjoyed spending quality time with Mom. It was important for him to support his family and create a safe and stable home for them and everyone who came to visit them.
In addition to his family, Dad’s interests included work and computers, birds, coins and stamps, reading Louis L’Amour westerns, watching Maverick and Indy car racing, tinkering on cars, world traveling, attending concerts with Mom, watching basketball and football with Mom, especially Bart Starr and Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers, as well as Stockton to Malone and the Utah Jazz.
Wes is survived by his 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Dad would always say, “It’s not what you say but what you DO that counts.” What you did for us earned you a guaranteed ticket to heaven with Mom coming to take you home with her, with all of our eternal love for you and Mom going with you. Mom would say to us all now, “It’s ok, I’m fine. Dad is fine.” You are home now Dad, with your loving wife Renee, parents, family, and friends, and traveling the universe with Mom. We love you, and God bless you forever Mom and Dad, in our Lord Jesus Christ’s name!
Private graveside services for family and friends will be held at the Logan cemetery. Dad didn’t like a lot of fussing, and he wanted to keep things simple. We will miss you dearly, and we thank you for the many good and loving memories Dad.
