George ''Tuny'' Crozier

August 23, 1929 — January 16, 2003

George ?Tuny? Crozier Tuny Crozier passed away January 16, 2003, at his home in Thatcher, Utah. He was born August 23, 1929, Garland, Utah, the son of George and Ada Arvilla Empey Crozier. He married Lorna Nelson June 9, 1948, in Thatcher. Tuny graduated from Bear River High School. He owned and operated a family farm and a steel building business where he worked side by side with his sons. Tuny and Lorna had the opportunity to serve as a missionary couple in the Nauvoo Mission, fulfilling Tuny?s lifelong desire to work in the blacksmith shop. He is survived by his wife, Lorna; children, Tamera Douglas Newman, Kelly Tammy Crozier, Kit Merrilee Crozier, and Max Karen Crozier; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He is celebrating a happy reunion with two sons, Michael George and Ricky Val, 11 siblings, his parents, and numerous in-laws. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at the Thatcher/Penrose LDS Ward Chapel, 11475 West 10400 North, Thatcher. Family and friends may call Sunday, January 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Monday, January 20th from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to the LDS Missionary Fund. Interment, Bothwell Valley View Cemetery.
