TRENTON?George B. Corbett, 47, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2001, surrounded by his loving wife and family. George was born on June 13, 1954 in Brigham City, Utah to Jack Barnes and Bonnie Jean Bywater Corbett. He was reared and educated in Box Elder County and eventually earned his Nurse?s Aid Certification in Logan. He married Phyllis LaRae Coley on December 11, 1987. George was a loving father and wonderful husband who loved art, horses, and camping. More than anything in the world, George loved spending time with his beautiful grandchildren. He had an outgoing personality and loved helping people, and as a result had many friends. George was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis and six children, Tammy Jason Naylor, Nibley, Jenny Allen Foss, Logan, Tera Paul Young, Montana, Paul Melissa Mauchley, Logan, Jayme Rodriguez, Salt Lake City, and Michael Brandi Mauchley; four grandchildren Tanisha, Alexis, Tanner, and Ryligh Kay; his mother, Bonnie Corbett, Corinne; his siblings, Edward Corbett, Christy Jensen, Denise Roche, Terri Neilson, Penny Soto, and Teresa Layton. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Corbett and his brother Steven Corbett and infant brother Jack, Jr. Funeral services will be at 12 o?clock noon on Thursday, December 27, 2001 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Smithfield City Cemetery. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the Hospice of Cache Valley staff for their loving and attentive care.
