Garth William Eggli Garth Eggli, 23, of Layton, formerly of Tremonton, died on July 10, 2002. He was born to Richard and Chris Eggli in Tremonton on December 16, 1978. He graduated from Bear River High School in 1997. He was an Eagle Scout. Garth served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sydney, Australia from 1998-2000. He came home and attended Utah State University in Logan, where he met and married Kate Robinson on August 15, 2000, in the Logan LDS Temple. In May he received his associate degree in drafting from Utah State. He worked at Convergys in Logan and had recently transferred to Salt Lake. Garth was a fine craftsman who loved to work with his hands. He loved to be out doors in nature hiking, fishing and enjoying life. He was a perfect example to all those around him and he will be dearly missed. Garth was an exceptional husband and friend. He was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Kate of Layton; his parents, Richard and Chris Eggli, Tremonton; father and mother-in-law, Terry and Kitsy Robinson, Layton; brother, Michael April Eggli, Tremonton; sister, Judy Calvin Francom, Plain City; grandparents, Fred and Violet Eggli and Avril Jenson, all of Tremonton. He was preceded in death by two brothers Nathan and Jacob Eggli. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2002, 10:30 a.m. at the Tremonton LDS 3rd Ward Chapel with Bishop Jerold Ward officiating. Friends may call Friday, July 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and Saturday, July 13th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Church.
