Tremonton ? Fredrick William Eggli, 80, died August 18, 2006 at his home. He was born in Bothwell to Aaron and Lena Weiser Eggli on September 8, 1925. He was reared and educated in the Bear River Valley and joined the Navy at age 17. Fred married Violet Pauline Frank in Elkton, Maryland on June 26, 1946. They lived in Philadelphia for 2 ½ years. They moved to their current home in 1949, where they have owned and operated their farm for 57 years. Fred had also worked at Mountain States Implement and La-Z-Boy. Surviving are his wife, Violet, sons Richard Chris Eggli, David Shawna Eggli, all of Tremonton. Daughter Josephine Jim Jarvis of Animas, New Mexico; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by a daughter, 3 grandsons, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday August 23, at 11:00 am at the Salt Creek Cemetery, 8686 W 10400 N Tremonton, with Bishop Norman Fukui officiating, Friends may call at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home 111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, Tuesday August 22, 6-8 pm and Wednesday, August 23, from 9:30-10:15 am.
