FRANK KARNELY Tremonton - Frank Karnely, 88, returned home to his Father in Heaven on June 18, 2005 at his home due to age and heart trouble. He was born on April 24, 1917, in Somerset, Colorado to Michael and Frances Karnely. Frank lived in Somerset until he was eight and then his father bought a 40-acre farm in Tremonton. He was drafted into the U.S. Army on January 20, 1941 He came home on Furlough and married Aletha Eliza Polson on August 28, 1941, in Malad, Idaho. He continued to serve in the Army in Alaska, Oklahoma and in Italy until September 29, 1945. Frank had two daughters Kathleen Martin Raish and Karen Steve Jensen. He was baptized into the LDS Church on November 1, 1958 and sealed to his wife in the Logan Temple on June 7, 1960. He was active in the church and held many callings. Frank farmed for most of his life, worked at Stohl's Grain Elevator, and at Thiokol for 22 years. He had spent most of his life caring for others and when it seemed he ran out of people that depended upon his care, his own health began to fail. Frank had many friends throughout his life and enjoyed traveling around the United States with his wife and friends. He had friends he played cards with twice a week and loved going to his grandchildren's activities. Frank enjoyed camping and doing things together as family. He enjoyed working on things and figuring out how they work. He always seemed to have the right tool and know how to use it to fix whatever wasn't working. Frank can now be reunited with his love, Aletha. They were a great example to everyone who knew them on how married people should treat each other and how great life can be. Frank will be missed by all that knew him for his sense of humor and constant teasing, his positive attitude and company. He is survived by a daughter Kathy Martin Raish; Grandchildren - Todd Raquel Jensen, Matthew Raish, Greg Cherylyn Jensen, Alison Mitch Kincaid, Corinne Adam Shepardson, and Angela James Graves; Son-in-law Steve Ann Jensen; Sister - Jennie Bill Martin.
