Frances Karnely Germer passed away Monday, April 19, 2004 at Bear River Valley Hospital.
Frances was born in Somerset, Colorado in 1915, a daughter of Michael Karnely and Frances Kalister Karnely. She moved to Tremonton at the age of 12. Frances attended grade school in Tremonton and graduated from Bear River High School in 1933. She was employed by the Utah Poultry Association for several years and also by Thiokol. Frances and Ralph Germer were married in August 1966 in Elko, Nevada, and made their home in Deweyville. She and Ralph enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and had a large garden for many years.
Frances is survived by her brother Frank Aletha Karnely of Tremonton, and her sister Jennie William Martin of Anaheim, California. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Some of them referred to her as "Grandma Frances."
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph; sister Mary; by her brothers Tony and Joseph; and her niece Karen.
Funeral services will be held at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East, Tremonton on Thursday, April 22, 2004. The viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be at Deweyville Cemetery.
