Fontella Fredrickson Bronson

Logan/Tremonton-Fontella Fredrickson Bronson, 89, passed away October 27, 2011 at Williamsburg Assisted Living in Logan, UT. She was born November 27, 1921 in Aurora, UT to Anders "Andy" William and Florence Cooper Fredrickson. She married Howard Pershing Bronson February 21, 1940 in Tremonton, UT. He passed away November 30, 1993. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
Fontella moved to the Bear River Valley when she was five years old and attended schools in the Bear River Valley and graduated from Bear River High School. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including in the Relief Society, Primary Teacher, and Librarian and was dedicated to genealogy by working diligently in the Name Extraction Program. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and enjoyed baking, reading and crocheting. She was a Pink Lady Volunteer at the Bear River Valley Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her children: Jolene Sanford, William David Bronson Rebecca, Melinda Gordon, Shelley Hansen Mike; 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; Sisters: Betty Stickels and Doris Bennett. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son Gary Lee Bronson and Infant Son Howard Bronson and Sister Joyce McDonald.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Friends may call prior to the Funeral Service from 10:30-11:30a.m. Interment will follow at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
