Fern Capener Hall

Garland, Utah ? Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Fern Capener Hall, 94, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, March 31, 2007.
She was born May 12, 1912 to Samuel and Clara Oyler Capener in East Garland, Utah. She married Elmer Warren Hall, May 18, 1932 in the Logan LDS Temple and they had 70 wonderful years together. They are the parents of seven children and lived their entire life in Garland, Utah.
She lovingly served in many callings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a visiting teacher for 70 years and spent many devoted hours in the extraction program and Temple work.
Spending time with family was her priority. Gardening was a passion and she made many crocheted articles and quilts for loved ones. Cooking and reading were favorite pastimes. Later in life, she cooked at the Garland Elementary School.
She is survived by her children: Gary Yvonne Hall, Ned Ann Hall, Gail Lowell Archibald, Sherrill Dean Larry Dorius, Bonnie Grant ?Bud? Theurer, Betty Bryce Jeppsen, Ronna Michael ?Chunk? Richardson, 38 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren; two sisters: June Britton and Connie Parsons and a brother, Harold Capener.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers, a grandson and son-in-law. We express thanks to Dr. Chad Merrell, Dr. Chad Gonzalas and Hospice for loving compassionate service.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garland LDS Tabernacle, 140 West Factory St., Garland. Friends may call Thursday, April 5, 2007 from 6:00?8:-00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial in Garland Cemetery.
