Fae Reese McCann

Fae Reese McCann, 86, passed away on June 24, 2006. Fae was born October 29, 1919 in Benson, Utah, the eldest daughter of Charles Lionel and Georgia Ruth Foster Reese. She was raised on the farm and attended school in Cache County and was an honor graduate of North Cache High School. In March, 1937, she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Fishburn McCann, and they were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away on October 13, 2000. She resided in Logan, Utah at the time of her death. Fae is survived by her children: Dixie McCann; Linda Fred Smith; and Robert R. Marian McCann; brothers: Charles, Clair and Cleve Reese. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a sister, Gayle Hansen and a grandson, Daniel McCann. Fae worked in the grocery business with her husband, Robert, for many years. She was employed by Cache County in the Treasurer?s office and retired as head secretary of Logan Junior High School and will be remembered by many former students. She enjoyed being a temple ordinance worker for fourteen years and made many friends there. She was an excellent homemaker, a wonderful cook, and an accomplished seamstress, as well as a creative, colorful and funny person. She had a quick mind and a beautiful voice. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the Lundstrom Park Third Ward chapel, 1260 North 1600 East, in Logan. Friends and family may call prior to services from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the ward meetinghouse. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
