Richmond ? Eva Jeanne Carlson Johnson, 82 passed away June 7, 2002 at the Sunshine Terrace. She was born December 24, 1919 in Richmond, Cache, Utah, a daughter of Victor August and Leona Hansen Carlson. She was the second oldest of 14 children. She was reared and educated in the Richmond schools, graduating from North Cache High School. She Married Alvin Ross Johnson on September 8, 1941 in Franklin, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. Together they had three sons, Ross Layne, Alvin Kimber, and Jay Chris. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she served in Ward and Stake callings in the Primary and scouting programs. Her interests were in decorating wedding cakes, iridology, personology, herbology, midwifery and operating her health food store. She enjoyed helping many people with health related problems and with home births. She is survived by two sons and their spouses: Ross Layne Helen and Alvin Kimber Becky; 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She is also survived by seven brothers: Donald Elaine Carlson, Doyle Helen Carlson, LaMar Donna Carlson, Ken Carlson, Thad Carol Carlson, Carl Rochelle Carlson, Joe Kaye Carlson; and four sisters: Carol Boyd Larsen, Tess Wade Christensen, Rita Sam Rowland, and Druce Lee Cluff. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Ross Johnson; one son, Jay Chris Johnson; two brothers, Victor August Carlson and Howard Dennis Carlson and her mother and father. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 in the City Creek Ward, 150 South 100 East, Richmond, Utah with Bishop Kim L. Braegger conducting. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening, June 10, 2002 at the church and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Richmond City Cemetery.
