Eula Rhodes Wood

Garland - Eula Rhodes Wood, 90, passed away April 11, 2004 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born September 22, 1913 in East Garland, Utah, she was the fifth of fifteen children of William Jasper and Ellen G. Capener Rhodes. She married Mark Jonathan Wood on October 26, 1934, in Ogden. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on February 21, 1936. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2002.
She worked at Box Elder County School District for 33 years and for 17 years served as County School Lunch Supervisor. Eula loved to feed not only the entire County School District but also anyone who had the pleasure of visiting her home.
She was a member of the Garland First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in various callings.
She is survived by her children, Bob Marilyn Wood, Gladstone, OR; Arlene Bill Bingham, Deweyville, UT; Dee Ann Dallas Nessen, Kaysville, UT; 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; siblings: Beth Clyde Wood, Cheyenne, WY; Carl Rhodes, Tremonton, UT; Alta Eldon Munns, Garland, UT; Blaine Rhodes, East Garland, UT; Margene Fryer, Bountiful, UT.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and daughter-in-law Jay Dee and Lena Ann Wood, two great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; brothers, Rossco, Arnold, Ursel, Dale, Ray, Lee, Daniel; sister, Fay and Geraldine.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garland LDS Tabernacle located at 140 West Factory, Garland. Friends may call Wednesday, April 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton and 9:30 to10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral.
The family would like to express deep appreciation to Dr. Chad Merrell, VISTA Care Hospice, and a special granddaughter, Patti Jo Bingham for all the heart felt care given to Mark and Eula Wood.
