Erna Thea Fiedler was born October 11, 1926, in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Died Tuesday May 16 at the age of 96.
Mom immigrated from Dusseldorf Germany in 1953 after WWII with her husband Kurt and children Gabriele and Kurt. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband and mother to her children. She served her father in heaven faithfully, dedicating her life to service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a Relief Society President, as a leader in the single adults with her husband Kurt. When her parents moved into our home in their twilight years she provided loving care to them tending to their every need. Mom and Dad served a mission and there they blessed the lives of saints and others in Nuremberg.
Mom had a love for sewing handwork and enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and others.
Mom served for 16 years in the Jordan River Temple a calling she loved dearly.
Mom is survived by her six children, Kurt, Gabriele, Wilford, Alma, Rebecca, Silvia, 30 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Services will be held at the Corner Canyon Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Monday May 22, 2023. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 9:45, with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 am. Interment will be at the Logan City Cemetery at 2:00pm.
