Born July 15, 1965 at Pioneer Valley Hospital in West Valley City to Garry & Louise Almond Rose later divorced. Died November 30, 2006 in Logan. Eric was raised in Hyde Park, where he learned to enjoy the foothills of Cache Valley. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda , Hyrum UT, mom and dad, Clynn and Louise Seamons, Smithfield, UT, brothers Kevin Karina Alpine UT, Brad, Smithfield, UT and Mike Shelley Santa Clara, UT, step sisters: Kathy Brent Downs, Hyde Park, UT, Debra Ron Durtschi, Kaysville, UT, Tina Brian Daines, Hyde Park, UT, special friend Pam Clark, and many other family members who love Eric. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Lynn Rose, grandparents Gene and Hellen Rose, Burt and Lottie Almond, and step-grandparents Harvey and Melba Seamons. Eric?s passion for the outdoors included skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and boating. Eric graduated from Sky View High, and earned a bachelors degree in business from Utah State University. Eric married Jennifer Lynn Golden in June 1988. Together they had a beloved daughter, Amanda. They later divorced. Eric struggled with alcohol addiction, but found some peace and recovery as a faithful friend of Bill & Bob?s. May God grant you serenity, Eric. Eric found his niche in life earning a general contractors license and working as a fantastic home designer and carpenter. Many of his designs are acknowledged for their beautiful elevations and superior use of materials and space. Eric designed and built several premier homes in Cache Valley. Recently he was asked to help on the house in Logan for the Extreme Makeover TV show. Eric has lived in Oklahoma and California but always called Cache Valley home. His passion to drive put thousands of road miles on his old Chevy Blazer exploring Utah and Idaho. Eric has always liked to talk and to make sure he could back up promises with results. Eric, your mom and dad, family, friends, and especially your daughter, Amanda, love you and pray that you have now found the peace and comfort you have sought for so long. Your spirit is so very precious to all of us, we miss you so. Daddy, I miss you, miss me too. Forever, Sis. God speed; love you forever forever, always and always Pam Clark. The jobs won?t be the same without you. We will miss you everyday, your crew. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6th, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E. 400 N. Logan, Utah. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, December 5th from 6-8 p.m. and prior to services on Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Hyde Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts and condolences may be made at the funeral home toward the Eric Rose trust account to benefit Amanda?s education.
