Tremonton. Elmer Dewey Woodruff, 93, died at the Bear River Valley Care Center on July 11, 2003. Elmer was the youngest son and last living survivor of Marion and Bertha Jensen Woodruff. He was a farmer and dairyman for many years, a salesman for Golden Spike Equipment, President of Canning Association, and President of the North Elwood Ditch Company. He served on a mission with his wife in the Louisiana-Mississippi Mission. He served there as Mission President for two years. He loved hunting and fishing. He was an officiator at the Logan LDS Temple for four years. His last six years were spent at the Bear River Valley Care Center. He will be missed by all that love him. He is the father of 4 daughters, Leila Jean Gary Nielson, Tremonton, Phyllis Lynn Stayner, Malad, Id., Janet Dean Selman, Tremonton, and Charlene Blaine Hill, Bonanza, Or. He has 27 grandchildren, 111 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Madsen Woodruff, son, Elmer and great grandson, Christopher. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 14, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverview LDS Chapel, 10750 North Hwy 69, Deweyville. Family and friends may call Sunday, July 13, 2003 at 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday July 14, 2003 at 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.
