Ellen Perry Hunsaker, 85, died December 27, 2006. She was born on January 7, 1921 to Lorenzo Dan Perry and Caroline Kunzler Perry. She married Martell Alvin Hunsaker on June 1, 1944 in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1981. Ellen was an active member of the LDS church, serving in several positions. She taught Primary for over 20 years. She dearly loved all the little children. She was also a visiting teacher and a temple worker. Ellen loved being with her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She also liked to read and make candy at Christmas time. She made the best divinity ever! Ellen was a very hard worker. She worked at the American Greetings Company for many years. When her children were born, she devoted her time to raising them. In her later years, she worked at the Perry Fruit Stand in Willard. She always gave the customer a bargain with a big smile. Ellen is survived by her children: Martell Douglas Nona Hunsaker; Kathleen Robert Kershock; David Sheryl Hunsaker; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Eleanor Perry Petersen and Ruth Perry Spackman. She was preceded in death by her father, L. Dan; her mother, Caroline; husband, Martell; three brothers: John Wesley Perry; Lorenzo Dan Perry; and Elmer Reed Perry; three sisters: Lena Perry Hubbard; Ida Perry Young; and Barbara Perry Larkin; one son: Kurtis O?dell Hunsaker; one grandchild: Melissa May Hunsaker; and one great grandchild, Brayden Blaine Doutre. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at the Brigham 5th Ward, 420 South 800 West in Brigham City. Family and friends may call prior to the services from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Honeyville Cemetery.
