Ellen Annette Adams Guymon

November 29, 1948 — April 17, 2003

Logan, Ellen Adams Guymon 54, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 29, 1948 in Ogden, Utah to Jack Russell and Laurel Spaulding Adams. She married Quinn M. Guymon August 29, 1975 in the Logan Temple. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1967 and then worked for Utah State University. She enjoyed painting, name extraction, and held many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints especially in the Primary program. Ellen is survived by her husband Quinn of Logan; her two sons Brandon Tiffany, of Hyrum, and Trevor C. Guymon of Logan.; her parents Jack R. and Laurel Spaulding Adams of Ogden, Utah; Mother in-law Ruth M. Guymon of Huntington, Utah; brothers Paul R. Anita Adams of Thief River, MN, Alan R. Linda Adams of Osteen, FL, Scot J. Debra Adams of Lakeside, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Martha Glenn at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and Hospice for the kind and loving care of Ellen. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21, 2003 at 2:00 PM. at the Logan 15th Ward located at 125 West 600 North Logan, Utah with Bishop Rawlinson conducting. Family and friends may call Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North in Logan and Monday from 12:30 until 1:30 at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery. The family has requested in Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at 2000 Circle of Hope, Salt Lake City, Utah 84112 Condolences may be extended to the family at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
