Elizabeth Louetta Ford Andrews Granny Annie passed away after a long battle of breast cancer on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 31, 1936 in Morgan, Colorado to George Everett Ford and Venie Alice Coombs. Elizabeth grew up in Smithfield and attended North Cache High School. She married Newell Don Andrews July 18, 1956 in Elko Nevada. She loved gardening and spending time with Don out in the field taking care of the animals.
She worked at Safeway for 35 years as a cashier and later retired from Logan City Ambulance Billing. She is survived by her husband Don of Logan; her daughter Kathy Craig Merrill of Trenton; her 3 grandchildren Donny Melissa Merrill of Trenton; Heather Merrill and Shaun Kale of Logan; Trevor of Trenton; and one great-grandaughter Taci Merrill of Trenton. She is also Survived by her 2 sisters and 1 brother. Bonnie Scott Anderson of Smithfield; May Mel Smith of Logan; Jack Judy Ford of Las Vegas and her sister-in-law Lorna Aldridge of St. George. She was preceded in death by her son Jesse, her parents; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec 4, 2007 at 12:00 noon in the Willow Valley 1st Ward Chapel, 125 West 600 North, Logan. There will be a viewing on Monday, December 3rd from 6-8 PM at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan and on Tuesday prior to services from 10:30 ? 11:30 a.m. at the Church.
