Eleanor O. Belles of Logan died Wednesday, April 16 at Logan Regional Hospital in Logan, Ut. She was 93 years old.
A viewing will be held at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21. Memorial services are on Tuesday April 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church in Logan with Pastor R. Don Emerson officiating.
Eleanor Ruth Oyer was born October 23, 1909 in Kenmore, New York. She was the daughter of Robert and Cecelia Minor Oyer. Eleanor spent much of her childhood in North Tonawanda, New York and met her husband, Ernest George Belles there in 1938.
They married in 1940 and lived in North Tonawanda before moving to Coral Gables, Florida. In 1973, she moved to Wauchula, Florida where she cared for her grandchildren and was an active member of First Baptist Church in Wauchula. 1996 found Eleanor moving to Cache Valley where she attended Maranatha Baptist Church, and resided the remainder of her life.
Survivors include her sister, Winnifred Oyer Ludwig; her sons, Gerald Robert Belles and Timothy Marc Belles, nine grandchildren, Roger Reed, Lori Belles Akers, Debbie Belles Bidwell, Amy Belles Bryan, John Belles, Kristi Belles Blauer, Kimberly Belles Bailey, Keri Belles Wood and Timothy Marc Belles, II, and nine great grandchildren.
