Tremonton ? Edith Blanche Cooper White, 78, died October 21, 2006 at home of natural causes. She was born November 8, 1927 in Nephi, Utah to John Victor Cooper and Edna Blanche Draper. She married Gail Newman White May 29, 1947, in Nephi, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized January 11, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Edith was a graduate of Juab High School and attended Snow College. Most of her life was devoted to supporting her husband, raising her children, and struggling with health challenges. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband and siblings, Margean Alan Ostler, and Don Cooper, and is survived by three children, Richard L. Rolayne, Richfield, Kenneth N., Tremonton and Ronald C. Paula, Tremonton, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and siblings, Rayola Keith Wankier, St. George, Gerald Coral Cooper, Ephraim.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 26, 2006, in the Tremonton Stake Center, 660 North 300 East at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the Stake Center before the funeral from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment in the Tremonton Cemetery.
